Skyrim is my home. To deny me this is an outright cry for war. Skyrim belongs to the Nords!

Background[]

Thomas Kristoff was born in Bruma on 14th of Rain's Hand, 4E 170 to a family of Nord peasants. He had one younger brother, named Bjorn. His father, Hjoric Kristoff, made his money as a lumberjack, and struggled to put food on the family's plate. This resulted in many nights without food.

When Tommy was two years old, his parents had a child named Bjorn. Bjorn ended up getting all the attention from Tommy's parents, resulting in him often feeling alone, and often depressed at such a young age.

Great War[]

In 4E 173, the Great war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire had become at it's worst. The Thalmor eventually managed to push into Cyrodiil, and directly into Bruma.

Hjoric dug a basement into a secret hatch in his tool shed, one the Thalmor would never find. He brought in a decent supply of salted meats and buckets of freshwater. The family hid inside, but the screams and sounds of horrible warfare able to be heard.

Eventually, the fighting in Bruma had ceased. When Hjoric and his family emerged from their hiding area, they realized the entire city had been burned to the ground. All of the local Nords had been slaughtered, their bodies lining the streets. Burned buildings and body parts were littered everywhere. It was a horror for the young family.

Later childhood[]
