Sotri is the deceased twin sister of Hadvar in the year 4E 201.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Sotri, and her twin brother Hadvar, were born on the 5th of Frostfall, 4E 170, to an unknown mother and father. Their mother died in labor. Their father, unable to raise the twins on his own, gave Hadvar to the twin's aunt and uncle, Alvor and Sigrid, who lived in Riverwood, while he raised Sotri in Helgen. Sotri and Hadvar visited each other frequently throughout their childhood, and, at the age of fourteen, Sotri began dating Hadvar's friend Ralof. While living in Helgen, Sotri got a job helping Vilod brew juniper berry mead.
Later Life[]
In 4E, 190, on Sotri's 20th birthday, a dreugh attacked Helgen, killing Sotri and her father. This sent Hadvar into alcoholism, before Ralof and Alvor helped him get sober. Hadvar and Ralof later left Riverwood to join the Imperial Legion.
Trivia[]
- In The Man Missing from Time (Chapter One), Ralof remarks, "So this is Helgen. I use to be sweet on a girl from here. I wonder if Vilod is still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in." Referencing to Sotri, and her job helping Vilod brew mead.
