Hjricker's Barrow is a barrow located in Falkreath Hold. It is located deep underground, and the location of it has been hidden for thousands of years. This is because, the entrance was buried 8 feet underground, at a random location in the forests of southern Skyrim.

About[]

The barrow is part of an ancient nordic temple, which was buried underground some thousands of years ago, during the late Merethic Era. When Ysgramor landed on Skyrim with the other Atmorans, some rebels escaped and went south, to where Falkreath would one day be. They built a huge underground temple of a period of 20 years.

Most of the temple has caved in, but most cave ways are still intact. The Barrow is haunted, full of ghosts, rebels from the original Nords. Many historians and other Nords over thousands of years have tried to pin point its exact location, but it was lost over time, as no main Nords really knew about it or wrote about it. The rebel nords who built it, wanted it to be a city, not Saarthal, because the Snow Elves and Elves lived up north where it was. But Hjricker's Barrow was abandon and everyone died off after falmer raided and broke through the walls, as well as chaurus. Why is it named Hjricker's Barrow? Hjricker Gold-Mine was a reasearcher who spent his life trying to find the location. Around 300 years ago, he finally did, travelled here and got in. He was killed though by a falmer raid, studying in his lab, the deep Nordic history.
