The Aensland were intelligent trolls. They were considered sentient beings and were also considered strong, agile, and very fast.

All Aensland had enhanced senses and the ability to see in the dark. Aensland had improved tissue regeneration. This allowed them to recover from wounds quicker, which made the difference between life and death in many well-documented situations. All Aensland bore the Trollkin curse, which made them vulnerable to fire and diseases, and turned many of their offspring into the regular unintelligent trolls. Aensland are native to the continent Rieltam in the area known as Pudereed.
